First lecture in Grammer

What is languague ?
Langauge is a human , oral , aural , written system of communication ideas and feelings.


languague is '' human'' because only human being can use it with its complicated system of rules . Animals and birds use more primitive signals for simple communication .



What are the levels of languague desciption/anlyse ??


1- The Typographical / Graphical level :

At this level ,one can study the system of writing and panctuation and sudy the capital and small letters , spacing and punctuation marks , spacing and spelling that make the sentense easy to read and under stand .

2-The Phonological / Phonatics Level :

At this level , one can study syllables , consonants , vowels , stress , innotation patterns and other phonological features .

3- The Syntactic / Grammatical level :

At this level , one can the rules of sentense structure . These rules must be followed to achieve coprehention .

4- The Morphological Leve :

At this level , one can study the internal structure of words (word formation) . One can study prefixation , suffixation and compounding .

5- The Semantic Level

At this level , one can study the overal meaning of the sentence . The appropriate collocation and relation of words is issential .


That is enough for today cause I wanna go to rest and prepare my self for watching Ahly Vs Zamalik match .
